Our family lived close to Capilano Park in North Vancouver, BC and loved to walk the trails. We were in awe of the beuaty created by Lions mountain with the lake in the foreground. The lake was the main source of drinking water and on many days reflected the Lions mountains like a mirror. It was usually a very calm and serene space but on some occasions the film industry took over the park to make movies which was always intriguing. We’d wait for the movie to be released to see our favourite park featured in some memorable cinematic moments.

All of Elizabeth’s top quality prints are created through a painstaking proofing and approval process. First, a super high resolution photo (up to 50 Megapixels) is created which is then turned into a printable file that is colour adjusted under her watchful eye. The photo is then sent to the latest Epson Pro quality Printer that incorporates the latest achievements in photographic ink jet technology.
Using 10 colours the print comes out looking exactly like the original artwork – almost. Before she will approve the print, the proofs are examined for quality, clarity and colour match. Several proofs may be made to ensure the quality is up to her exacting standards. Only then will the prints be sent for final proofing and printing onto the highest quality archival acid free heavy cotton canvas. The final prints are then compared to the original work.
The prints are created with black borders and double varnished to ensure longevity. They’re hand stretched onto a 1.5 inch hardwood canvas stretcher and wire hangers attached, making them suitable for immediate hanging. Elizabeth will then inspect the work before signing and numbering the back of the print. A Certificate of Authenticity is issued and the number of that work is recorded and permanently stricken from the available list.
We have fun trying to guess which work is the original and which is the print. The quality is absolutely guaranteed. Each signature series image is limited to just 25 prints plus 5 Artist Proofs.
The Artist has provided Signature Prints limited to 25 and only printed in the size of the original work on canvas so that the collector will enjoy the work as if it was the original.
